How did this song come to life & why does a book have a soundtrack?

If you live in Nashville long enough, you are bound to know someone tied to Music City. The friendship that led to this moment began when I sat next to Lauren Lucas at a women's professional luncheon a few years ago. Unbelievably talented and stunningly beautiful to her core, Lauren has a remarkable career as an artist and songwriter. Naturally, I went to her last year when I flirted with the idea to host a podcast, seeking her expertise in creating original music (catchy jingle) for the intro/outro you normally hear in those interviews. Lauren loved and believed in my book (as she has an unparalleled servant heart) and came back with,“Well, my band mate, Andrea, and I actually pulled together a song using the words from your book. What do you think?”

Speechless. Humbled. Grateful. So why not a song for the book? And the rest is history.
