Organizations Behind the Logos on the Post 9/11 Deck of 52

From disruptors to pioneers... They are charting new paths in tech, manufacturing, to e-commerce.

From irreverent branding, to wholesome marketing...
They are problem solvers who create solutions or improve upon longstanding ideas.

There are obvious differentiators, and in the same breath, unshakable, common threads.

The 52 organizations selected for this 2019 Bicycle Collector's Item Deck represent how post 9/11 veterans and their families take care of each other, our communities, and rise to opportunities and challenges here at home.

Each card represents a deeper narrative about the post 9/11 military community—stories about grit, sacrifice, passion, compassion, innovation, and leadership. These cards are connections to deployments and the home front, and, moreover,

offer moments of pain, inspiration, and then purpose.

Every branch of service is represented in this deck, along with family members and Gold Star Families.

I leaned on my experience and education in business and entrepreneurship, a vast network of colleagues and advisors, and dusted off lessons from my time in uniform and the intelligence community to compile a list the first of its kind. A repository of knowledge and inspiration—of enlisted to officers, men and women from all walks of life—now exists.

This deck should be the first 52 we think about when asked,

"Describe the post 9/11 military community and what they are capable of."

“A measure of success is not where they are now, but
where we are. In 2003, the deck targeted those who led by fear.
This deck features those who lead by inspiration.”
